How can I help with this bug because I've the same problem. I've got a Ipod Classic 80 Gb and I put the album art of a song in the tag file with the program Easytag. When I put than the song on my Ipod with itunes (virtual in windows xp) I can see the album art when I'm playing the song. If I do it with Rhythmbox than it's randomly. Mostly I can't see the album art of the different songs. Sorry, I meant to respond when I received a new iPod. My old one was always glitchy in iTunes, also. It eventually stopped working altogether and I received a new one from the folks at Apple. Rhythmbox has always been a little hesitant to work with the Classic, due to all that encrypted firmware. If any bugs very much annoy me, I'll let you know. But lately I've just been syncing with iTunes on my Windows partition. Sorry for the lack of input, I've been very busy.
