The upstream comment seems to be right. The problem is still there. Aron, your info is very valuable. Do you know exactly how the Password label is displayed in the GDM greeter. Aron, the bug #442978 doesn't seems to be the same problem as bug #442742. The "Password" string is not in the Launchpad template, so I can't translate it.
