How do you add a calendar in GNOME calendar? I tried: Calendar Settings -> Add from Web -> entered my CalDAV calendar URL -> The Add button remains disabled It should be enabled and a control file should be created in ~/.config/evolution/sources. Wolf, part of why this bug was closed is because you have combined several different issues into one bug, which makes it difficult for the bug to be triaged and for a developer to fix issues. Could you try to split this bug into separate bugs? Calendar support is different than Contacts support. And IMAP seems something different too. As a workaround, install Evolution. Run Evolution. Possible workaround (which is not stable): Under ~/.config/evolution one can add a text file containing the configuration to the required service. As long as libsane1:amd64 is installed (and it has to be installed otherwise this error won't be given), you should be able to scan using normal scanner application. (Unless you need a 32-bit driver, then you'll have to uninstall libsane1:amd64 and install libsane1:i386 along with i386 version of scanner application instead) BTW, this seems to be reported at Debian's bugtracker already. Adrian, thank you very much. Your advice saved me a lot of money. I unfortunately own an MSI GX70 notebook with two GPUS: Radeon HD 8650 G Richland and Radeon HA 8970 G Neptune. It wouldn't load without nomodest option in grub configuration. While fglrx lasted, it was bearable. After 16.04, however, nomodeset started to block installing amdgpu driver. With MUTTER_ALLOW_HYBRID_GPUS=1, however, the notebook booted without nomodeset, also it switched to integrated Radeon HD 8650 G Richland automatically. This issue is specific to ubuntu ( gtk css customization ), and it seems to have been fixed in subsequent releases. While most of the commands can be bound quite easily using the rhytembox-client, i found a weird behavior when using the current time to skip ahead (using seek) In order to get the current position in the track, in use the command rhytembox-client --print-playing-format %te As this gives me the format in hour:minute:seconds. This works up to a track length of 1:11:34, then there seems to be an error, and counting starts from 0 again; here is an example of the output while listening to a long track: while true; do rhythmbox-client --print-playing-format %te; sleep 1; done 1:11:30 1:11:31 1:11:32 1:11:33 1:11:34 Unbekannt 0:01 0:02 0:03 0:04 0:05 0:06 0:07 ^C I've tested this with several tracks - they all split behave the same. So my guess is that this is some kind of overflow in the timing ? Of course, not many tracks are that long, but i'd still like to point this out. Makes the while skipping forward via the client very hard, as the time playing is not really reliable. Not sure if this should be mentioned here or go into the wishlist, but it would be great if the output format could also print seconds. It would be very useful with seek to easily fast forward/backward. It was playing (not paused) at the time. Earlier in the day, I had pointed rhythmbox to my audio directory (in Preferences). RB had finished adding the tracks to the Music list. But afterward, I had made a few changes in some of the subdirectories of my audio directory. At the time, Chromium was using a great deal of RAM, and tabs were open which had played video with sound. After the music stopped, apport displayed that there was not enough free memory to analyze and report the crash. System Monitor showed over 2 GB free. I realize my usage is a little extreme: - System monitor showed the rhythmbox process was using 255 MB of memory before apport killed it. - My audio directory contains over 50,000 tracks - There were 125 tracks in the Play Queue at the time. Also when changing to a different position of a movie in fullscreen I expect the player to just switch to that position. What actually happens: It seems to depend a little on the file type of the video, mostly I get problems when going to fullscreen mode and then switching to a different position with the playback position bar. With some videos it was even enough to just open the fullscreen mode. The video freezes just displaying a frame while the audio keeps playing. The computer does not react any more to mouse or keyboard input, I have to perform a hard reboot. i'm using ubuntu 17.10 (single boot) on a macbookpro early 2015 (12,1 model). i have the apple airpods. they work fantastic with my android phone. on linux though, it's another story. Bug description:
I have setup the remote desktop using the "[VNCServer]" configuration section.
When I log in using a VNC client and log out with the desktop panel menu,
the VNC client(remmina) does not exits.
I found that a VNC connection(TCP 5900) remains alive even though the Xvnc
server exits.
I also found the cause, GSocket instance is leaking in the "src/vnc-server.c".

However, upon upgrading to 16.04, I noticed this connection would no longer "connect". It would just silently fail. I noticed that if I deleted my custom routes, it would work, but I need those in order to connect to my required network services. So there has to be some problem in the new implementation of NetworkManager in 16.04, because these routes worked in 14.04 and they still work in 16.04 if I just manually add them from the command line. For now I can work around this issue by manually adding these routes from the command line every time I connect. I have issues also when drag'n'droping files from a nautilus window to one of its subfolders (or any other place). AMOF sometimes it works after 1 minutes of silent-doing-nothing.
