[Desktop-packages] [Bug 2010924] Re: MT7921K --> BLE funktion don't working
It's the kernel driver itself: mt7921 It's missing BLE support for this device. On Windows BLE is working. I really don't know witch one is the driver for bluetooth function for this device, because it's Wi-fi + BT 5.2 combo. Found in AMD Wi-Fi 6E RZ608 (MediaTek MT7921K) In this MB: X570S AORUS ELITE AX (rev. 1.1) And this wi-fi + BT combo are found in all new MB with integrated wi-fi + BT combos. ** Package changed: ubuntu => bluez (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to bluez in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2010924 Title: MT7921K --> BLE funktion don't working Status in bluez package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Hi, i have MT7921K BT chip that BLE function is not working with linux, but normal BT is working. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1174043] Re: After dist-upgrade to 13.04 Intuos3 can not drag/paint any more
Ive figgured out what's wrong with the tablet configuration: xinput list-props before, with the bug: Wacom button action 0 (288):1572865, 524289 Wacom button action 1 (289):1572866 Wacom button action 2 (290):1572867 Wacom button action 3 (291):1572872 Wacom button action 4 (292):1572873 Device Product ID (261):1386, 177 Wacom Debug Levels (293): 0, 0 This looks a bit supcious to me... So i did: xinput set-prop "Wacom Intuos3 6x8 stylus" "Wacom button action 0" 1572865 Resulting in: Wacom button action 0 (288):1572865 Wacom button action 1 (289):1572866 Wacom button action 2 (290):1572867 Wacom button action 3 (291):1572872 Wacom button action 4 (292):1572873 Device Product ID (261):1386, 177 Wacom Debug Levels (293): 0, 0 And now I can drag just fine... Untill I touch anything in the KDE tablet configuration utility - then the situation above is restored and no more drag for me https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=252925 <- this KDE bug suggests that this behavior is more of a driver bug than KDe configuration utility bug. ** Bug watch added: KDE Bug Tracking System #252925 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=252925 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xf86-input-wacom in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1174043 Title: After dist-upgrade to 13.04 Intuos3 can not drag/paint any more Status in “xf86-input-wacom” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: After dist-upgrade to 13.04 Intuos3 can not drag/paint any more. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1174043] Re: After dist-upgrade to 13.04 Intuos3 can not drag/paint any more
Will do apport again in a moment. Yes, I use KDE, I have gnome installed tho, if you want me to test something. ** Tags added: kubuntu ** Description changed: After dist-upgrade to 13.04 Intuos3 can not drag/paint any more. Button down is immediately followed by button release, so I CAN click, but painting is limited to single tab of paint at a time in gimp and does not work at all in Krita. I can not even to move windows around... xinput shows that the pressure axis values are correct, but button up event is not - it comes right after button press, not when I lift the pen. This is for ubuntu people: As fixing or replacing X can be complcated, there is the patch in master git tree ( http://git.gnome.org/browse/gimp/commit/?id=dbf844c012894166e312470f0d98560d5e426613 ) that could be ported to 2.6 in packaging . you would have working gimp on this broken setup without radical changes. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gimp in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/863154 Title: Wacom Bamboo One tablet random coordinate malfunctions Status in The GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP): Unknown Status in “gimp” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: The tablet in overall seems to work correctly, with all pressure- features working. But quite frequently, while drawing, GIMP seems to wrongly read the coordinates of the stylus (as zeros, or negative values?), resulting in frequent, random 'line-peaks' in the direction of the left and upper image edges. With this bug it is hard to even use the tablet, since these problems are very frequent (see the exemplary image attached). The tablet works with no problems in MyPaint. The bug is reproducible in both Unity-2d and Unity-3d. I also notice the CPU usage increasing dramatically during drawing with any brush. Steps to reproduce: 1. Connect the Wacom Bamboo One tablet 2. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 863154] Re: Wacom Bamboo One tablet random coordinate malfunctions
m-marti, is your mouse for some reason enabled as an extended device? If yes, disable it. You wont lose anything as mouse does not provide any extra info for extended devices. As far as I am aware from my testing with mmiicc, it only affects extended devices and a specific event deliver mechanism known as event history buffer that is provided by X. It's a known source of trouble. According to my tests with mmiicc 2.7 does not exhibit this problem because of this commit: http://git.gnome.org/browse/gimp/commit/?id=dbf844c012894166e312470f0d98560d5e426613 With this I disabled the history buffer use because there are plenty of cheap tablet drivers that get it permanently wrong and 2.7 has event fill that prevents even mice from drawing polygons when moved fast, so milking every single event out of the device is no longer essential. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gimp in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/863154 Title: Wacom Bamboo One tablet random coordinate malfunctions Status in “gimp” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: The tablet in overall seems to work correctly, with all pressure- features working. Open GIMP 3. Start drawing longer strokes with any brush Expected result: The brush stroke as intended by moving the stylus Actual result: The brush stroke as intended with frequent, random line-strokes towards image edges System: Ubuntu 11.10 oneiric (development branch) GIMP version: 2.6.11 (package version: 2.6.11-2ubuntu3) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gimp/+bug/863154/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Desktop-packages] [Bug 863154] Re: Wacom Bamboo One tablet random coordinate malfunctions
Oh, problems with the event history buffer can originate pretty much anywhere below GIMP, so wacom driver to X to GTK can be the cause... And I don't know of any other application outside gimp that uses it... If you do, let me know.
