*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1303999 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1303999 ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 1303999 After unlocking, desktop is shown then screen goes black for about five seconds -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-screensaver in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1269514 Title: Black screen (with clock) after waking the display Status in “gnome-screensaver” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: When the display sleeps due to idle time (or running `gnome- screensaver-command -a`), if I move the mouse slightly it wakes up to a black screen with the clock on the top right. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1303999] Re: After unlocking, desktop is shown then screen goes black for about five seconds
it's like the screensaver doesn't work in the lock screen but wants to black the screen anyway. So after the lockscreen is done (unlocked again), the screensaver remembers that it should have blacked the screen and does it then. After hitting a key, the screen comes back normaly. You haven't to wait. My graphic: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09) So not NVIDIA specific.
