[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1885953] [NEW] color-cc-panel calls gcm-calibrate which was removed from package

2020-07-01 Thread Gari Araolaza
Public bug reported:

Description:Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
Release:20.04

gnome-control-center: 1:3.36.2-0ubuntu1

Trying to calibrate a scanner clicking on "Calibrate" button tries to
launch /usr/bin/gcm-calibrate which is not present in the actual gnome-
color-manager package.

I expected a calibration window to be opened. Nothing happened.

Launching gnome-control-center from terminal returned:

2020-07-09 Thread Gari Araolaza
Public bug reported:

Description:Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
Release:20.04

Tried to calibrate my monitor with an external device (x-rite huey pro).
Process seems to go fine and starts working on the calibration. At about
80% of the progress bar I receive the message (in basque, not sure
where to search it in english):

Kalibrazioaren gailua ken dezakezu

Which translates to (free non-official translation)

Calibration has failed.
The tools needed for calibration are not installed
You can remove the calibration device

Launching the tool from the command line, I receive these messages:
