[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1527867] Re: no "show hidden files" menubar item
Sebastien, does the fix you mention affect the file chooser dialog? Because that one should have some kind of menu. It took me years to discover that I can use Ctrl-H to show hidden files or that there's a context menu. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1527867 Title: no "show hidden files" menubar item Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: show hidden files missing in Nautilus 3.18.3 / xenial i can't find the "show hidden files" menu!!! [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1526201] Re: Folders starting with a dot cannot be added to exclude/include lists
I just discovered that pressing Ctrl-H in the file selection dialog shows hidden files and directories. This should be easier though. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1170189] Re: nm-applet doesn't show full menu
The bug still exists in 13.04 after an upgrade. I have upgraded to 0.9.4.1-0ubuntu2.2 (Precise) but the problem persists. On logging in the full menu doesn't show. But somehow starting synaptic causes the menu to show up again. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 851055] Re: [Oneiric] 'Not Authorized' error given when mounting device
I got the same problems after upgrading to Oneiric (no mount, shutdown, suspend). For me, there wasn't the autologin line in /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf so that didn't help. I tried downgrading lightdm to 1.0.6-0ubuntu1.1 from 1.2, didn't help.
