Same problem here. I will try to follow the steps proposed to the first user. -Please provide steps you take to reproduce this issue on your machine Open empathy, add an AIM account, username, password. Then empathy endlessely tries to connect to AIM with no success. Thanks for your bug report and helping to make Ubuntu better. Since this is a connection issue with the haze protocol (for AIM) then this bug will be changed to telepathy-haze. -Please provide steps you take to reproduce this issue on your machine -Please use help-Debug and on the top left menu select Haze (AIM) and then click save and add that to this report as an attachment.
