[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1003833] Re: Can't sign in to USC recommendations
Hello Liam, Thanks for the feedback. The fix for your issue is indeed updating to the latest USC since it depends on the GTK UI for the sign-in/sign-on UI. I'm closing this bug as Fix Released, but please feel free to re-open t if you hit this issue again. Cheers, Natalia. ** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to software-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1003833 Title: Can't sign in to USC recommendations Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: I can't sign in to USC recommendations. The issue is that when I sign in using my launchpad.net ID that it says the email address is already registered and just reverts to waiting for me to register with a new email address. Apparently according to the question I posted there should be an option to login to an account and not only to setup an account. Hola Natalia! I've temporarily assigned you this bug and set it to "incomplete" to see if you have an idea about why the "sign in the an existing account" might not be appearing sometimes in the Ubuntu SSO dialog. Of course, feel free to reassign, etc., as needed. Thanks! ** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Natalia Bidart (nataliabidart) ** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to software-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1003833 Title: Can't sign in to USC recommendations Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I can't sign in to USC recommendations. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1003833] Re: Can't sign in to USC recommendations
Hi Liam, and thanks for your report. In the "Create Ubuntu Software Center Account" dialog, did you notice the link at the lower left for "Already have an account? Click here to sign in."? That should allow you to sign in with your existing account. Please let us know if this doesn't work, or if I have misunderstood the issue. Many thanks!
