Natural scrolling reverts without unchecking box

Bug description:
I have installed Ubuntu 14.04 on my Thinkpad W510.

The first thing I do, post-install, is enable natural scrolling.

It works for a while, but eventually (possibly after a reboot), my
machine reverts to classic scrolling direction, even though I still
have the natural scrolling button checked in mouse preferences.

If I *uncheck* the natural scrolling box, it then goes back to natural
  scrolling.

I've re-installed Ubuntu 14.04 and fully updated before checking the
natural scrolling box again, and gotten the same behavior.

2014-05-27 Thread Zachary Alex Stern
The issue was caused by an .Xmodmap carried over from a backup of my
dotfiles. No bug. :/
