The first thing I do, post-install, is enable natural scrolling. It works for a while, but eventually (possibly after a reboot), my machine reverts to "classic" scrolling direction, even though I still have the natural scrolling button checked in mouse preferences. If I *uncheck* the natural scrolling box, it then goes back to natural scrolling. I've re-installed Ubuntu 14.04 and fully updated before checking the natural scrolling box again, and gotten the same behavior. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1323050] Re: Natural scrolling reverts without unchecking box
The issue was caused by an .Xmodmap carried over from a backup of my dotfiles. No bug. :/ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to unity-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1323050 Title: Natural scrolling reverts without unchecking box Status in Unity Settings Daemon: New Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in “unity-settings-daemon” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I have installed Ubuntu 14.04 on my Thinkpad W510.
