I'm trying but I can't reproduce this :(
Are there any special steps you're taking to do so? I guess it's in some
way related to certain configurations.
If you're able, could you get a backtrace manually yourself using gdb?

g_object_new_valist()
for some reason, the crash report is not being uploaded to launchpad
via apport or ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_usr_bin_evolution.1000.crash, but
