[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1902228] Re: Unlocking the screen takes too long
[Expired for gnome-shell (Ubuntu) because there has been no activity for 60 days.] ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Expired -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1902228 Title: Unlocking the screen takes too long Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: I'm running Ubuntu 20.10, and unlocking the screen takes upwards of 20 seconds. If I switch to the "GNOME on Xorg" session instead of the "Ubuntu" session, the problem doesn't occur. It's only a problem with the Ubuntu session, and I've tried disabling extensions, changing theme, loading fewer apps, etc. The only thing that's made a difference was switching to the GNOME on Xorg session. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1902228] Re: Unlocking the screen takes too long
My initial report was wrong, it still occurred in the GNOME session as well, just not at first? I tried it on Wayland and while it was much faster, it was still slower than I'd expect (5-10 seconds). Unfortunately running that command didn't work, as I got frustrated and switched to KDE -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1902228 Title: Unlocking the screen takes too long Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I'm running Ubuntu 20.10, and unlocking the screen takes upwards of 20 seconds.
