Apache GO projects

2019-03-04 Thread Sagiruddin Mondal
Hi Friends,

Recently I am learning golang and it seems, it is promising server lang for
the future. I would like to suggest If apache creates some fundamental
tools using this language it will be awesome.

Please give your feedback.

Easier way to start contribution

2018-01-11 Thread Sagiruddin Mondal
Hi All,

I am a programmer. I am searching for some simpler way to start
contributing in Apache foundation. I am experienced with some architectural
work and API designs. I am comfortable with any programming language (ready
to learn a new one too). Please suggest some simpler and consistent way to
start my involvement.

Re: Apache and Java

2017-03-19 Thread Sagiruddin Mondal
A quick thought I want to add .. can we extend this discussion for,

1. What ASF project should have been done in other language apart from JAVA
? and Why ?
2. In the current time JAVA is massive but what feature is lacking in java
which gives other language a chance to this sport event ?

PS. I do not see any language matters when we are solving a problem.
Language is just a medium and all the languages are the more or less in the
same plane in this case. But a lot of attendees to ASF are quite
comfortable in JAVA could be another reason. Could not be ?
