Upgrading maven to 3.6.3 on ubuntu 19.10 was too complex because it required so many other packages. I tried openjdk 8 with maven 3.6.1, but it failed in exactly the same way as with openjdk 11. > Apache DS 2.0.0.AM26 Maven install fails with Unkown JVM/keysize > > > Key: DIRSERVER-2301 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSERVER-2301 > Project: Directory ApacheDS > Issue Type: Bug >Reporter: Brian Burch >Priority: Minor > -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.4#803005) - To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@directory.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@directory.apache.org

Sorry to say I had to give up trying to "pin" the maven 3.6.3 package to my 19.10 system. T then tried to manually download and install the deb, leading to a tree of dependencies. Maven is a big entity and I didn't have the courage to keep adding more and more of the packages that maven depends on. Anyway, maven 3.6.1 only fails on three tests, so perhaps there is a way to bypass those tests and run a successful install of directory server? > Apache DS 2.0.0.AM26 Maven install fails with Unkown JVM/keysize > > > Key: DIRSERVER-2301 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSERVER-2301 > Project: Directory ApacheDS > Issue Type: Bug >Reporter: Brian Burch >Priority: Minor > -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.4#803005) - To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@directory.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@directory.apache.org
