Re: [documentation-dev] Tutorial effort started at NLC SV

2007-09-26 Thread KAMI

Can you provide more information? Are they videos? Or documentation?

I am thinking about traning videos, where
the mosue movement keystrokes are recoreded, so every NLC can reshot it
it with their UI.

I konw it hard to be platform independent.

Hello,

The Swedish project under NLC has just begun to coordinate the work to
develop tutorials for OpenOffice.org.

Right now it only contains two tutorials covering Word Count and PDF
Export, but will hopefully expand soon in the future as we have several
interested contributors.

Who is the contact?

A suggestion from the peanut gallery:
If you are starting to create tutorials I would suggest you test them by
getting together with some people who know nothing or little about
OpenOffice and ask them to complete the task in the tutorial. If they
can do it without any live help from you, then I your tutorial is ready
for those who need it the most.

Re: [documentation-dev] Tutorial effort started at NLC SV

2007-09-27 Thread Kirsten Milligan
That would be where I come in handy!! I would love to be one of the guinea
pigs. I mean, I use OOwriter every day, but there are still features I
don't understand, and frustrations I don't know how to resolve. OObase is
still pretty useless to me, after spending many hours reading and rereading
the tutorials. Spreadsheets seem pretty straightforward, but there are
still so many features of which I don't understand the purpose or the
functioning. The rest I've used occasionally or not at all.

I want to learn ALL of these things, and would love to have a person there
to listen to all my questions.

Let me know.

Kirsten
