Re: Reskin: Priority Tasks

2017-05-03 Thread Mohit Bajoria
Hello Duplex

There are some tasks in TODO here
https://github.com/openMF/community-app/projects/1 If you could take some
tasks and create PR in new_reskin branch, it would be great as we have to
freeze and release the code by the end of this week.

I will be happy to help out

Re: Reskin: Priority Tasks

2017-05-05 Thread Mohit Bajoria
Hi Duplex,

Your PR seems to be buggy because of conflict you have caused in merging
the upstream, One quick solution is to make a new fork of the community app
and then make clean changes and send a new PR.

I merged your PR before but it broke everything in community app so
reverted it back, Above solution which i suggest is the quickest one. Let
me know if you any problem. Waiting for your PR

Please help me by restoring and renamed the old develop branch.

Authentication flow for Mifos Community App

2017-08-24 Thread Mohit Bajoria
Hello Community

I have been implementing Offline Functionality to Mifos Community app using
using Service workers API and its multiple libraries as my Google Summer of
Code project

Community app currently logs out if the browser is closed and if the user
is idle for some time, everytime we have to input username/password to
authenticate the user back again and this is bad UX according to my
experience. User should always be signed In seamlessly, making sure user is
secured.

In community app, all the logic is already written, we are storing data in
localStorage , you all can see in local storage section in the developer
tools. We are storing the user data in encrypted form in Local storage.

In MainController.js (L- 137), code written is that whenever users closes
the browser or sits idle, it logs out the browser which i think can be
commented out to gain the offline functionality to the user. By this way we
can direct navigate user to their home page even if the user is offline and
user will be securely authenticated also.

I want the view points of Nazeer and mentors, Going this way will there be
a security threat, will user will be secured ?

This way also ensures a seamless sign in flow without any hassle to the
user, let me know all your thoughts ?

Caching getting deleted on page reload

2017-08-25 Thread Mohit Bajoria
Hello Community,

I am facing this strange issue on offline Mifos web app, every time i
reload the page or close the browser, my fineract cache request in the
browser are getting cleared. All static cached files are there, but the
dynamic request are getting cleared on page reload

I have also filled the Github issue with very detailed description -
https://github.com/GoogleChrome/sw-toolbox/issues/267

My offline web page is at -
https://mbj36.github.io/community-app/?baseApiUrl=https://demo.openmf.org#

It seems this problem is common, because i see 2-3 more issues related to
same problem but it hasn't been resolved on sw-toolbox library

https://github.com/GoogleChrome/sw-toolbox/issues/265
https://github.com/GoogleChrome/sw-toolbox/issues/256

Any help would be appreciated

Hello Adhyan,

We had the very difficult merge situation while merging Duplex GSOC
project, there were lots of regression issues and new issues occured, We
had to be in sync with current develop so we do not lose the changes, we
did some of the changes manually, In all of the process of manually
changing the commit, this would have occured. I am very sorry about that.

Hey Stephen,

Ionic has great support for PWA. Yes, you are right, you don't need PWA to
work your site on mobile, it's an enhancement to your site which engages
users more with your web app. It has a 'Add to home screen' functionality,
offline caching, web push notifications and many more which native app
provides.

Ed,

As per our requirement Gitmate is best and i know some of the core
developers of the Gitmate personally, they are very friendly and they have
also some good pricing policies for the non profit open source
organisations.

I can connect with them and they can also customise it according to our
need.

Re: [Mifos-developer] About Adding New Github Integrations

2017-11-02 Thread Mohit Bajoria
Hello Ed,

After talking with one of the Gitmate folks, Results looks very impressive.
I ran the report on community app repository -
https://gitmate.io/report/https:%2F%2Fgithub.com%2FopenMF%2Fcommunity-app ,
we can integrate this and save much of our time.

We can also deploy Corobo <https://github.com/coala/corobo> instance with a
custom name on Gitter channel that will help new comers get a instant
reply. It's a bot to help new comers!

Mohit

Gitmate has this feature which is 'Code analysis'. It checks new and
updated pull requests of the repository for new errors and bad practices

The analysis uses coala <https://coala.io/> and needs to be configured via
a file named .coafile in your repository
