Re: Connecting mifos Android app

2017-01-10 Thread Christopher Stewart
Hi,

Has anyone managed to connect and use the mifos Android client
successfully?

I see many posts regarding connection failures and I myself are getting the
'there was some issue processing your request' error.

My mifos instance is hosted on an ip address and not domain name. Ex:
204.xxx.xxx.xxx/#/ port 80.

The isn't version is 3 and I have the November 2016 version of mifos
running.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Chris

Hi Adi,

We are wondering whether you had a chance to look at the interest
calculation excel? We are still unable to reconcile amounts for subsequent
instalments.

In addition we've also started seeing more problems with loans that are
prepaid significantly early on in the schedule, unfortunately I cannot test
this on the demo as the ability to create new loans seems to be broken
right now.

2017-01-10 Thread Myrle Krantz
Hi all,

+1

The build is working
Signatures are good

Things we should improve by the next release:
* Create a branch in git and tag the release changeset before the call to
vote is sent out. In the future I will vote against a release if the
changeset it is drawn from is not tagged.
* Instead of exempting files like uglify.js in the rat configuration, we
should add the allowed license text for those licenses. Here's how
http://creadur.apache.org/rat/apache-rat-plugin/examples/custom-license.html

Through Maker-Checker, Submitting Savings, Fixed Deposit and Recurring Deposit
account application works fine.

But Approving as well as Activating Savings, Fixed Deposit and Recurring
Deposit for the client doesn't work and maker checker throws the same error in
the screenshot(Screen Shot 2017-01-09 at 9.40.16 AM.png) attached with issue.

I tested it in the older version of Mifos 16.11.01 and also I tested creating
separate 'checker' user.

1. https://demo.openmf.org/#/viewcheckerinbox/6755

This issue is related to 'Approving' Saving Account through Checker Inbox &
Tasks. That is, we can 'Submit' Saving Account application through
Maker-Checker successfully. But while approving it through maker-checker
throwing the error.(refer Screen Shot 2017-01-09 at 9.40.16 AM.png , attached
with this issue). This is not Regression Error.

2. https://demo.openmf.org/#/viewcheckerinbox/6152

 i. The above issue doesn't arise, If you create a client and activate him
through maker-checker (also entity-data table check for "creating client"
should not be defined).

ii. The above issue doesn't arise if you define both entity-data table check
for 'creating & activating' client AND also maker checker enabled for both
creating and activating client.(You should not try to activate client at the
time of creating him, first create him, enter data table for creating then it
goes for checker approval and it will be submitted successfully. Now the client
is 'Submitted' but yet to activate. Now, you can enter data table for
activating client then activate with date. Now it goes for maker-checker and
gets submitted successfully)

iii. The above issue only arises, when you have to create a client(with no
entity-data table check) and approval of checker is still pending to 'Create' a
client. At this time, you create an entity-data table check for 'Creating'
Client. Then, you go to maker-checker to approve 'Creating' Client, the error
will be thrown as 'error.msg.entry.required.in.datatable'.
