Ya. Would have sworn that this was after building osgi-support, but maybe not...

These problems are serious enough to require a retry on this. I'll

Rick,
I'm having some problems building this source. There are some dependency
issues. For example:

ejb 3.1 has a dependency on geronimo-jaxrpc_1.1_spec-2.0.1. That should be
geronimo-jaxrpc_1.1_spec-2.1.

jaxb 2.2 has a dependency on geronimo-activation_1.1_spec-1.0.3 not
geronimo-activation_1.1_spec-1.1.

I'm also getting an unresolved dependency during build of
geronimo-activation_1.1_spec-1.1:

Missing:

1) org.apache.geronimo.specs:geronimo-osgi-locator:jar:1.0

jpa_2.0_spec-1.2.

Looking at the tags, I see 2 releases of jpa_2.0_spec since I released
the jpa_2.0_spec-1.0 release -
2.0_spec-1.0.1
2.0_spec-1.2
But only the 2.0_spec-1.2 artifacts are in the staging repo. Looks like
you created the 1.0.1 tag -

If this is not being released, shouldn't we delete it from svn?

Yes, looks like there was a problem with the rollback. I'll delete that.

Also, why did we jump to 1.2 instead of using jpa_2.0_spec-1.1 as the
next version?

This likely happened because of the rollback problem and the
interactions with the release plugin. I'd really prefer to not have to
roll everything back and restart the vote because of this issue. I hope
this would be ok as long as we don't have the same "time travel" issues
from the previous vote.

A little confused here

For JPA, you mentioned jpa_3.0_spec-1.2, but I'm guessing you meant
jpa_2.0_spec-1.2.

[VOTE] Release Geronimo Java EE specs (second try)

2010-04-16 Thread Rick McGuire

To support the upcoming Geronimo milestone release, I would like to
release Java EE 6 versions of the geronimo specifications. This is a single

updated
with common support for OSGi interactions. The RAT and IANAL plugins have been
run against
of the projects. All non-beta specs have clean TCK signature tests.
