Hi, I'm really worried about Tomcat integration support in Geronimo having read the email. What makes it even more frustrating is the fact that Apache Tomcat is a flagship product of the entire product set of ASF around Java EE and when we came to the point of integrating Tomcat and made Java EE TCK passed possible it went away with a mere svn mv. The whole debate was a huge fiasco, and unfortunately the one that screams the most and makes up the best stories win, not necessarily what is best for the community or the product. I had no choice but to follow what was going on. I'm not sure what is going to happen to this code base at this point, there is a lot more bs to be resolved before anything happens. I'm waiting to see if the board will say anything about the issue, if they stay dormant, then most likely that codebase will to. FYI, the Tomcat team decided to move tomcat/trunk to sandbox while details over RTC vs. CTR and their comet implementation are being resolved. The Geronimo 2.x Tomcat assemblies use a patched version of what was in tomcat/trunk for the enhanced annotation support.
