[l10n-dev] Strings outside the GSI file
Hi everyone :) I'm gradually tracking down the strings in the OpenOffice.org interface which aren't, for some reason, represented by the current string corpus (the GSI file). When I do get this sorted out, I plan to write a wiki page so nobody else has to be this confused (at least, about this issue ;) ). I still have some questions: 1. we can localize the templates themselves, but how do we localize their names, which appear under New > Templates and Documents > Templates > Presentations (OR) Presentation backgrounds ? 2. how do we localize the date and time formats, which appear when you double-click on a formatted field? When I was localizing the templates, the only date format I could choose was -MM-DD, since all the others were American English and unsuitable for Vietnamese. 3. how do we localize the names listed under Edit > AutoText ? 4. how do we localize the names shown in drop-down lists in the Wizards (e.g. Wizards > Letter) ? Once the file is saved, the name of sheeds is fixed (and should be changed by the software). Ain and André, thanks for your explanation. Clytie, Pavel, Ivo, all: I am currently trying to finalize CWS ooo3helpchanges1 that contain changes to css files for hu, pl, vi as per i61273, i71452, and i90051 I have problems building vi under Linux (Windows is not yet built). I need your help with - building the instsets - installing the builds - verifying the issues Clytie, I was bold enough to set you as QA rep for this CWS, feel free to change that if needed. If this CWS is to make it to 3.0, it needs to be set to approved by QA asap, by mid next week latest.
