2006-09-07 Thread Rafaella Braconi

Hi Stephen,

regarding the time frame for 2.1 please have a look at the release map at:
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/OOoRelease205

The current translation deadline for 2.1 is October 26th.

Hope this helps,
Rafaella

Thanks for the info. Will 2.1 be released from the current 680 branch
or is there a parallel branch which we should translate? Also, have you
any idea of the time scale for the release of 2.1?

Cheers,
Steve.

Development continues on CWSs integrated to HEAD and snapshots released
as SRC680_m###, if no new SRC number will be chosen that is, so no
change in general. Branches are created only shortly before release and
then merged back to HEAD.

Probably about end of the year.

We are now in preparations of 2.0.4 so it is late to get it there. For 2.1
there is a lot of time - please watch this list for instructions like this

Sorry, I listed the wrong version: SRC680_m182 is the version we have
translated so far.

Steve.

[l10n-dev] OOo 2.0.4 Kinyarwanda translations

2006-09-04 Thread Stephen Holt
Hi,

I'm currently in charge of the Kinyarwanda translation process for
OpenOffice, and am wondering how to get our version accepted by the OOo
community and placed on the website.

My predecessor in this role was Steve Murphy, who tried unsuccessfully
to get a Kinywarwanda release last year (see
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=49411 and
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=54604). Unforunately
we've missed a couple of releases since then but now have all strings
(except those in the help files) up to date for SRC680_m156, which I
believe is the latest candidate for version 2.0.4. Please could someone
advise the procedure to follow to get them accepted?

Regards,
Steve Holt,
Kigali, Rwanda.
