I'll keep my eye on Jira (and this thread) to see what happens. Or
Troy, you can contact me offline if you would like to arrange
something else.

Brett, if committed, will it likely be located here?

No, sorry. There isn't any way to get access to any repositories at
Apache without being voted in as a committer, which requires sustained
involvement over a period of time.

What Emmanuel meant was to drop it into JIRA as an attachment, and I'll
commit it. Anyone working on it can submit patches to JIRA, which I'll
apply.

If you guys need to collaborate more actively there are other options,
but I think this should be relatively small for now if the other
providers are anything to go by, so this should be ok.

Thanks again for your help!

RE: VSS SCM Support

2005-04-29 Thread Poppe, Troy

That'd be me!

I started implementing a couple of the VSS commands, but my workload increased
to
the point that I couldn't contribute the time to finishing it, and the state
that
it is in just isn't up to par.

I'd be happy to contribute some more time to trying to get that plug-in
finished,
it would be a great asset to my work, let alone the whole community of
developers
suffering with, er using, VSS.

Let me look at my code base at this point, and see what I can contribute to the
sandbox, and see if there's some way to get it at least PARTLY functional.

Sorry for dropping the ball folks.

All SCM implementations would be done in the Maven SCM subproject, eg:
http://svn.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/maven/scm/trunk/maven-scm-providers/

We'd certainly appreciate the help if someone would like to implement a VSS one.
It could then be incorporated into the Maven 1.x plugin, Maven 2 and Continuum.

As far as accessing SVN - it was down for about 45 minutes, up to about 20
minutes before I received this mail, so I assume that was the problem. Should
all
be fine now.

VSS SCM Support

2005-04-28 Thread Bryce Fischer
I was curious what the status of VSS support is?

I'd be willing to chip in if someone could point me to an example or
current source of VSS support.

Incidentally, I seem to be unable to access the SVN repository for Maven:
