Via the big table on the "other.html" is now easy to maintain for us but
has no improvement for the user as it is large and complex.

Please don't look too close to look & feel - sure the grey color is not
the best one ;-) - this can and will be improved for sure.

I was simply saying that trunk is more unstable than usual in these few days, since a number of large commits/merges happened recently and are happening. But the building guide should continue to point to trunk. Yes OpenOffice is compatible with the .doc format, however some formating might suffer some interpretation program. OpenOffice also include a wizard to convert all your .doc into native ODT file format.
