We often use it out of convenience (PRODUCTNAME). The name change was in
2012 with AOO becoming a TLP.

But I really have no time for this discussion anymore. Maybe others have
more time? ;-)

Being registered and having “®” in the logo are two separate things.
There is no legal requirement or necessity to include “®” in the logo

operate registered trademarks do not include the aforementioned sign

I find the core of the current logo fine for aesthetics and
effective for communication. The only thing I’d change is remove the
“Apache” and “®” from it, as both these elements crowd the logo,
weakening the focus, and ultimately break the simplicity and
modernity of the /initial/ logo (it was a stylistic regression to
insert them). Here’s a quick

I think using the filter API is the way to go. I remember getting
very curious about the filter API quite some time ago for something I
wanted to work on -- maybe generic XML docs, and realized this API
seemed very useful but I wasn't sure how it had been used. So, one

So I try to look into this, however our implementation on ODF
currently uses not the filter API but office Document model directly.

Should we stay with this architecture or should we use this
opportunity to migrate on a API driven filter?

What is your opinion on this?
