Re: [dev] Re: missing menu and toolbars on Opensuse 11 x86_64
Hi Michael, thanks for your quick reply. > just had the exact same problem last week. > in my case, it was caused by an incorrectly built uiconfig.zip. > removing the output tree in module postprocess and rebuilding it helped; > just rebuilding did not help, because the file was "up to date". Bingo, rebuilding the module postprocess solves this problem! > maybe the build process is not safely interruptible in every place, or > something like that. Maybe it was because I was running a parallel build on a 4 CPU machine. I don't know enough to investigate further. :-( Thanks a lot Jens - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[dev] missing menu and toolbars on Opensuse 11 x86_64
Hi, I have build OOO300_m2 on Opensuse 11 64 bit and after the installation of all the rpm packages I can start OOo but for some reasons the menu and the toolbars are not shown. Very strange is, that on the first screen, where I can select the type of document I want, the menu is shown. But once I selected Text Document the menu is gone! Same if I start swriter directly, no menu and toolbars. The same source build on Opensuse 11 with 32 bits works fine. Has someone seen this before? [dev] break iteration
Hello, we want to implement break iteration for Khmer in OpenOffice. We created a patch for ICU to implement a dictionary base breakiterator and so far this seems to work for line breaking. Unfortunately it is not working for word breaking. :-( From the code in OOo we got the impression that for word breaking always rule based iterators are used. Has anyone experience in this field and can tell us what we need to do in order to use an iterator from ICU for word breaking? Thanks Jens - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: [dev] build problem on winXP
Hi, > I have no idea where to continue. actually the problem was solved now. The reason was that there are three different environment variables for a temp folder involved in the build process: two from Windows: TEMP and TMP one form the buildsystem: TEMPDIR Once you set them all to the same folder the packageing works fine. For whatever reason the expand.exe extracts the files in a temp folder that is not the folder where the copy command later wants it. Shall I file an issue about this? Re: [dev] Re: Error on building DEV300_m29: startup/config.mk, not found

I do: ./configure ... cd .. source LinuxX86Env.Set.sh ./bootstrap dmake > WARNING! Project(s): > python > bitstream_vera_fonts > swext > libxml2 > freetype > curl > jpeg > zlib > dictionaries > neon > > not found and couldn't be built. Dependencies on that module(s) ignored. You may want to check if these folders have been in the OOo-Dev_DEV300_m29_src_core.tar.bz2 I had a similar problem after I got the files from cvs, some folders where missing and I had to checkout them separately. Hi Ariel, > I'm not sure if this may help, but I used to get similar errors on > extensions due to issue > http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=50885 > > IIRC[1] there was someone on this list who had the same problem building on > Windows. thanks for for reply. Interesting links indeed. I shortened the path for building and for the temp folder. But it does not help. I also observed that on the console there is a message from extract.exe that it can not work because there is no folder for extracting the multi-file cab archive. Strange is that I cant find this is in the log file. I have no idea where to continue. Regards Jens - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[dev] build problem on winXP
Hi, I am building OOO300_m2 on winXP-SP2. Compiling is running OK but when the build process comes to the point where it should create the installer I get an error. The last entries from the log are at the end of this mail. I am using VC2008 express edition. I'd be thankfull for any advise in this.
