Apache should be the new owner of the Open Office Source code and is now working very hard at porting it into their system. The source in now in their incubator. [dev] Dev300m96 a two issues
With the start of m95 I noticed my page numbering doesn't work many more in writer and still continues into m96. Has this been noticed and flagged as a bug to be fixed? The next issue, starting way back to maybe m90 or m93, there is a long time delay showing the splash screen before any app (calc, writer, etc) starts. I tried turning the splash screen off (/opt/ooo-dev3/program/sofficerc) by changing Logo=1 to Logo=0. Is there any timer set for an opening delay, or is this just a debugging mode making it longer. [dev] Save-As Microsoft Word 97, 2000, XP (.doc) ..... Filter not found
Hi all, New problem. Started with m93 (development) and is with m94. After I create a document in odt format, I need to save it as a .doc. After it's standard complaint of loosing some formatting I say Keep Current Format OOO pops up a little window saying Filter not found. Is it missing now or did something break? [dev] Dev builds m92 and m93 core dumps
Hi all, My platform OS - Solaris Express 11 (b151a) Hardware - HP Z800 Dual 5590 processors, 24 gig ram When I start OOO exactly 55 seconds later I get a core dump, leaving the program alone, non-interactive, it happens by itself. The core dumps started with m92 on Opensolaris b134. I upgraded today to Solaris Express 11 and installed m93 and still the same core dump. I've entered the command: bash-4.0$ truss -f -o /export/home/Rad/ooo.err.txt /opt/ooo-dev3/program/swriter /opt/ooo-dev3/program/soffice[119]: wait: 8611: Memory fault(coredump) bash-4.0$ I have compressed ooo.err.txt to approximately 120 kb. I would be happy to attach it if anybody is interested, or unless someone knows what is bothering OOO. As a workaround I've reinstalled m91, no problems, just a slow startup. Thanks, Paul
