jclouds is a project that rotates the chair every year. FWIW, here are as an example the project bylaws: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/JCLOUDS/Bylaws On Sat, Oct 27, 2018, 09:38 吴晟 Sheng Wu wrote: > Hi, Peng and Ignasi > > > I agree with that kind of VP mechanism, if any PMC has time to take > responsibilities, that is a goos thing for the community and PMC > himself/herself. > > > Peng > Could you consider to write a document about VP rotation and proposing for > next year VP? Re: [DISCUSS] Heading to graduation
Hi, Peng and Ignasi I agree with that kind of VP mechanism, if any PMC has time to take responsibilities, that is a goos thing for the community and PMC himself/herself. Peng Could you consider to write a document about VP rotation and proposing for next year VP? I like to discuss that and make it official and public in our community. I totally agree with that. Chair rotation is a good thing and helps people understand better how the ASF works. You could suggest one year terms or so when writing the project bylaws to make that official, if the rest of the PMC agrees.
