Yes. At least, that's what the sleep-deprived remains of my brain is
telling me at the moment.

Yes, when I wrote that I thought the "all" was superflous. So.. this:

"Source and destination URLs do not point to the same repository."

... is what he wanted?

Mike says he meant "all" in the above sentence, but the jet-lag got
the better of him ...

Remove the word "point" and I'm happy with this.

Should it be:

"Source and destination URLs do not all point to the same repository."

???

Unless they could but "appear" that they don't. That seems strange... either
they do or they don't, right?

It's a split infinitive, which doesn't make it necessarily bad English
but can make it sound wrong. "Not to point to the same repository"
would be more concise and just as precise, in my opinion.

strange error message

2011-05-18 Thread Stefan Küng

Hi,

while working on issue #3887 I discovered an error message that doesn't
sound right to me, but English is not my native language so I might be
wrong:

Source and destination URLs appear not to all point to the same repository.

the "not to all point..." just doesn't sound right.

This is in libsvn_client/copy.c:822

Is it correct? If not, what are your suggestions to improve/correct this?

Stefan
