2010/6/4 Anselm R Garbe garb...@gmail.com: Hi there, after the positive feedback to the recent fullscreen fixes it is time for a new dwm bugfix release: http://dl.suckless.org/dwm/dwm-5.8.2.tar.gz I'm sorry to disturb you again, but the fullscreen problem is still here with mplayer. Even fstype=non in mplayer.conf still does'nt scale the mplayer fullscreen window. Also 9base has been updated during the past weeks and contains several new commands like ed, sam, unutf and many others. http://dl.suckless.org/tools/9base-6.tar.gz Have fun, Anselm -- Demelier David

The most obvious change is that both clients now also cover the dwm status bar when in fullscreen. Xpdf seems even a little more aggressive. When in fullscreen, it uses the entire screen, no matter what. Before, dwm was able to tile multiple fullscreen Xpdf clients. i can confirm these observations in tiled mode xpdf works as it used to, so i'm not terribly annoyed

Xpdf seems even a little more aggressive. When in fullscreen, it uses the entire screen, no matter what. Before, dwm was able to tile multiple fullscreen Xpdf clients. Also, Xpdf doesn't allow any other client (like a terminal) to be in front of it any more. Alt+Tabbing only switches between Xpdfs, the other clients are counted, but ignored. I guess, this is correct behaviour and not a dwm bug. From a user perspective, Firefox and Xpdfs old behaviour were more user friendly, though. But then again, all these programs (and especially Flash) do *not* suck less. -- ilf@jabber.berlin.ccc.de Über 80 Millionen Deutsche benutzen keine Konsole.
