Re: PR - TOMEE-2967 - Translate to Spanish: examples/xa-datasource/

2021-01-31 Thread Emerson Castañeda
Hello Evaldo

I took a look of https://github.com/apache/tomee/pull/760 and added some
suggestions. Some gender conjugations and verbs are misused and
redundant/duplicated, also there are some texts that I could not figure out
the sense of what you are trying to express, Finally, a couple of funny
translations like using "frijol" for "bean" :)

Anyways, it is a good draft, it just need additional work

Thank you

Emerson

Re: TOMEE-2900 - Translate to Spanish: examples/jaxrs-json-provider-jettison

2020-08-17 Thread Emerson Castañeda
Thanks David

I added comments for some typos on the versions.

I'm wondering if the example is that old that's still making emphasis on
having the Jar on the lib folder. Would not it be enought adding the maven
dependency for jettison? Is it available?

[TOMEE-2714] Spanish Translation mp-jwt-bean-validation - PR#59e

2019-10-19 Thread Emerson Castañeda
I added a new PR with the Adding Spanish Translation for example:
MicroProfile JWT with Bean Validation (mp-jwt-bean-validation)

https://github.com/apache/tomee/pull/593
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TOMEE-2714

I noted the following caution note during the translation:

>>> CAUTION: This feature has been temporarily removed in `master` and
needs to be reworked. It is anticipated this will complete before Apache
TomEE 8.0.0 final.

My questions are:

1) Has this been already solved? Can this caution-note be removed from the
docs?
2) what is the JIRA issue related to this subject? if there is one
3) Is this a subject in pending and has been delayed for a future release?

Feel free to review please

2019-10-19 Thread Emerson Castañeda
Cesar,

I'm not sure if you meant, if matching in number to Portuguese
translations? Spanish translations are like 30 less :)
$ ls -R | grep 'README_es.adoc' | wc -l
21
$ ls -R | grep 'README_pt.adoc' | wc -l
51

Or about coincidence translating same examples? or maybe both :) .. I'm
wonder it that is what you meant

May you please assign to me as well: TOMEE-2671, TOMEE-2694, TOMEE-2695,
TOMEE-2696, TOMEE-2714

and mark as Done: TOMEE-2695, TOMEE-2696

Thanks

 Hi Jon

Thank you for your reply
I am building directly from the repo on the tag (tomee-8.0.0)

I have re-run the build removing -Pquick

Now the process is going further, right now, (49/322) and going, it usually
takes about 25 minutes, I'm not sure why it is too long.

Thanks

It makes sense since all: org.apache.tomee:openejb-itests-*:jar:8.0.0 are
not available in http://central.maven.org/maven2/

Only this artifacts are available:

Do I have to build/install those locally to be able to build tomme?

I'm using this command:

mvn -X -Pquick -Dsurefire.useFile=false -DdisableXmlReport=true
-DuniqueVersion=false -ff -Dassemble -DskipTests -DfailIfNoTests=false
clean install

Thanks

Carlos,

Do you mind if I create sub-tasks under TOMEE-2673 ? I would like to keep
a similar style for Spanish translations.

Re: How can I help

2019-09-07 Thread Emerson Castañeda
David,

Thank you for the warming welcome.

I will be looking forward for the links for Tomee's embedded option. I can
help with the rewrite, just let me know about the strategy you would like
to follow.

Sure, I can take care of the translation for "MicroProfile Custom Health
Check ". It has been a great suggestion as well. I'd not be sure if Spanish
version is going to be better than the English :).

How can I help

2019-09-07 Thread Emerson Castañeda
My name is Emerson from Colombia currently living in the US, after ~13
years on Madrid.

I'm java developer. I have not used Apache Tomee yet, bit I have been user
of its brother Tomcat for about 20 years :), currently development with
SpringBoot using Tomcat embedded. I'm wonder if there is a embedded option
for Tomee.

I would like contribute to any activities. On my regular days I work on
stuff related to integration and professional services and facilitating:
documentation, communication , decision support, marketing processes,
implementation of services, data provisioning and synchronization, QA.

Thanks

Emerson
