Re: TeamCity 5.0 upgrade

2009-12-17 Thread Johan Compagner
I fixed the 1.4 snapshot deploying (that still didnt go well it tried to
deploy on the wrong location because of a bad profile/configuration)

Now 1.4 snapshots should be in in the repository

and the very very very very good news is.. no more silly unique snapshots!

I cleaned a lot of dirs now so the disk usage dropped below 60% so we should
be able to go forward for quite some time.

By the way, did anybody did make a backup of the team city configuration?
Because if we get a real hard crash it would be quite annoying to configure
everything again.

i guess a postgresql dump somewhere would also be nice..

I guess a confluence/jira backup is pretty much more important...
setting up a new teamcity/hudson/continuum/... is not *that* hard...
the biggest problem is getting the content back...

Would it be better to move our jira tracker to the atlassian hosted
variety (they don't provide a hosted version for confluence)?

Apparently it also needs port 8111 to be able to register with the server...

See:

http://wicketstuff.org/teamcity/agents.html?unauthorized=true

and if you're logged on to the server:

/home/wicket/teamcity-5.0/buildAgent/conf
/home/wicket/teamcity-5.0/buildAgent/logs/teamcity-agent.log
/home/wicket/tomcat/logs/catalina.out

Hi,

The teamcity upgrade failed with a database error...

ERROR: function pg_try_advisory_lock(bigint) does not exist
this function was introduced with postgres 8.3. Perhaps you need to upgrade.

Best Regards,
Ilja Pavkovic
