2001-09-20 Thread Saurabh Bhardwaj

MMS specs are available at 3gpp.org ... specs 22.140 and 23.140

Wapforum has specs on WAPMMSEncapsulation , WAP MMSArchOverview and WAP
MMS Client transaction

Which one you need ?

regards,
-Saurabh

I've been trying to get the MMS spec from www.wapforum.org but it seems
that the files are not there anymore.
Can anybody send me the MMS specs?
And if anybody has the EMS please send me that as well.

GSM Modem

2002-03-07 Thread Saurabh Bhardwaj

Hi

We are looking for a high-end GSM modem (not simple mobile
phone!!) which can talk to SUN Solaris m/c over serial port and
send/receive short messages in UK. The modem should have built in power
supply.
We are keen on modem with reference history (used and working with no
hitches).

Any info/links will be highly appreciated.

Regards,

PS: I apologize if it was already discussed ( I am in crises !).

Title: Message

HiLet me first thank all who provided me with their
valuable insights (Andreas Fink, Oded Arbel, Jörg, Dave Wilson, Dw.). After a
brief research, I decided on following alternatives ( I have
to finally zero on one of them)Wavecom WM02Siemens M20
TerminalSiemens TC35 TerminalNokia 20Price of these units are
varying around  £300 and accessories another £80. Has
anybody already done a research and can help me decide which would be best
(requirement mentioned in attached mail- in particular working with Sun Solaris
m/c) with its approx price in £ ?
I also need help implementing AT command set in java (as my SMS
application is built on java and we need to add an additional module to
communicate to GSM world using GSM modem). If anybody has already implemented
and can share reference implementation, it will be highly
appreciated.
regards,
-Saurabh

RE: SMS PDU

2002-04-17 Thread Saurabh Bhardwaj

Hi,

We too are grappling with same query , as of now we are using the PDU
binding specified in Wavecom Manual ( as we plan to use wavecom modem) .
We too would like to know which standard specs ( GSM/3GPP) has
information regarding PDU binding ( particularly for AT+CMGS command).

Thank you

FW: URGENT: Nokia 7110

2002-05-14 Thread Saurabh Bhardwaj

Hi

I am trying to connect Nokia 7110 as GSM modem on my PC ( Win2000), to
send and receive AT commands from my application.

1. Would like to cross check how to configure nokia 7110 as modem ( I
have DAU-3P cable connected from mobile to PC com port)? Do I need some
driver files ?

2. Can I use Hyperterminal to send AT commands?

Any help pointers would be highly appreciated.

Regards,
-Saurabh
