Kernel Bug Reports: Template broken?
Hi, I saw that some users filed kernel bug reports, which lacked information. Then I wanted to check the kernel bug report template and found out: there is no longer a template. So in the past, once the component "kernel" was chosen, the user was provided with a template of the bug report, which informed them about what they should provide (e.g., dmesg). Is it intended that there is no longer a template or is it broken for some reason? Technically the change is quite easy, you could submit it as a PR - you just have to edit https://github.com/weldr/lorax/blob/master/share/templates.d/99-generic/runtime-install.tmpl , that is the recipe for creating the installer environment. -- Adam Williamson (he/him/his) Fedora QA Fedora Chat: @adamwill:fedora.im | Mastodon: @ad...@fosstodon.org https://www.happyassassin.net ___ devel mailing list -- devel@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to devel-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@lists.fedoraproject.org Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue

Requesting an addition to the install image
Where is the proper place to request something be added to the install image? I was going to file a BZ but wasn't sure of the proper component. I'd like to see nvme-cli (and libnvme, which it depends on) added to the install image. I wanted to switch an NVMe drive to 4K sectors, which reformats it, so I needed to do that before installing Fedora (or have to install, change, then reinstall). Fedora Copr builders updated to Fedora 38
Hello maintainers! Copr builders have been updated to Fedora 38 today (some old builders might still be running F37 ATM, but when they finish the task(s) they work on, they will be deleted). Our testsuite is passing just fine, so you _should_ be fine too :-). Please let us know if you have some troubles. There was one important change in Fedora 38 - RPM switched to the Sequoia crypto backend. It refuses SHA-1 in crypto; which basically disallows Mock to properly check EL6 GPG signatures. To allow further builds, we switched to gpgcheck=0 for all epel-6 chroots. If you know a better work-around, let me know. But it could be just my workflow. I recommend anyone use https://release-monitoring.org/ which can send you notifications of new versions of specified projects. Could be used for any component maintenance including RPMs. I get notified and then it's up to me when and how I act on it. You can build automation based on it, too. Re: Orphaned packages looking for new maintainers
I have no idea if Noto Sans Arabic or Noto Naskh Arabic is qualified for Urdu and Punjabi. Even though they have minimal coverage in fontconfig perspective, there might be minor differences which look strange for native speakers like punctuation marks in CJK etc. If we are going to change, we need feedback then. For the last resort, I could take them over temporarily though, we definitely need some help from Urdu/Punjabi communities.
