Andrei Alexandrescu: http://www.reddit.com/r/programming/comments/27e5d7/dconf_day_1_talk_3_a_real_d_in_programming/ The built-in can be deprecated. And the compromise solution is to return the result from the reverse() of Phobos. Sometimes breaking your the rules a little is the best thing to do. The Deque struct methods should be in camelCase (and possibly fulfill the range protocol). Bye, bearophile

Or it is something assumed trivial and thus not mentioned? :)

Or at least to whatever extent is permitted. It'd be very cool to eventually hear that the next Splinter Cell, or Assassin's Creed, or whatever inevitably-major title from you guys was aided in some way by D. :)

None of us have sticky-post credentials, this system doesn't actually support them. (The web interface at forums.dlang.org is really a front-end for an NNTP newsgroup served from news.digitalmars.org, which is how some of us access it. Heck, I'm posting this from Thunderbird right now.)

This isn't a normal web forum. It's a newsgroup with multiple front-ends to it. You can view it as a newsgroup, a mailing list, or via the web forum. The result is that it has no features which aren't compatible with all three - including sticky threads. - Jonathan M Davis

Re: Chuck Allison's talk is up
Dicebot has been uploading them on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaYYN56VR7Z4SSoO7ws0-jA/videos I use his channel, as every web video player I've ever used blows in its own special way but youtube is the least bad. Nice! Thank you. If I may... this channel should be advertised properly, something more official. Else, you'll probably end up referencing that link often in the coming weeks. People should not have to dig in forum threads to find your good stuff; the prime time talks of 2014. My two cents, Olivier
