Bob - can I ask you to link to training material for GeoMOOSE? This wiki is 
gathering up training material for use in an open education context (so 
something that is free to be re-mixed into an academic course).

I knew someone was going to ask.  The download includes a set of demo data in 
the install.  The idea was to have a complete working demo after installation.  
It’s much easier for the user and/ or trainers to swap in their own data with a 
working install.  Everything is included in the download.

There is a somewhat outdated Workshop materials download from here:

The Workshop Materials will be updated this Month for a Local Workshop being 
held on GeoMOOSE in May.  This will also hopefully include a new 2.9V of 
GeoMOOSE as well.

The demo data included has it’s own Licensing.

*Abstract: *Increasing the efficiency in water management is one of the key
challenges that our society is facing and that we are called to support.
Water related extreme events, like floods and droughts, are increasing in
frequency and in negative impacts due to climate changes, growing
population and economy. As a result today the water availability and
quality is a critical aspect to be secured. The Open Source for Geospatial
software can play an important role in improving the water management in
different areas of interest. In this view, it is of interest of this

as many of you know, OSGeo and G4A started a volunteer initiative for 
evaluating a possible migration of UN geospatial applications from proprietary 
to FOS S.
I'm there the representative of G4A and I'm in charge of leading, together with 
Prof. Ki-Joune Li, the capacity building program of this UN OpenGIS Initiative.
I'm kindly asking all of you, if you have short courses or workshops (for 
instance those held at FOSS4G Conferences) about

QGIS, PostreSQL, PostGIS, Geoserver, OpenLayers, Geonode

of referencing them at this wiki page
