Hi just got your app and not having much luck. I am sure I am missing something. I run SBS on a vortexbox, I changed the main port to be 9000 instead of 9001. If you run twonkymedia on the same box you have to use 9001 for SBS. This is not an issue for me at the moment. I also have ipad for ipeng and that works fine. ipad is running the latest os4+ something. You state that port 3483 must be open - could be the issue, what do I need to do for this?? The issue - I start Squeezey, , i get a screen connecting to SqueezeServer which last for 5 to 10 sec and then it goes back to the home page. First, it's generally good practice to use the real artist name for the Artist tag, rather than using V/A. I mean, the collection of tracks -- whether from a compilation or simply your collection of singles -- may have various artists, but the track itself has a specific track artist(s). For your current problem, check your settings via the SBS web ui. For your purposes, under *Settings My Music Filter genres at the album track level* you should probably select *Only show tracks or albums matching the selected genre for an artist*. I can't help you with AccuRadio Christmas. But if you go to Internet Radio Search *christmas*, you will have dozens of christmas only streams to choose from. [slim] Web browser plugin to play online content
Whenever I'm browsing the web and stumble across content that I want to listen to, I need to right click the link, copy it, open SBS web UI, choose the appropriate Squeezebox player, paste the link in the web UI, and click Play. What I want is to be able to right click a link (to a stream, podcast, MP3, or other audio content) and get a context menu where I can choose to Play on Squeezebox: Bedroom Boom or Play on Squeezebox: Living room Receiver, Add to playlist on Squeezebox: Bedroom Boom, etc. Does a plugin or other extension for this exist? Firefox compatible? Unfortunately that's already selected, and yes, that setting really should do what I want it do to -but it doesn't. Hi all. Regarding connection problems. 3 things need to be in place. 1. Access to the SqueezeServer, Normally via WLAN connection 2. Check the server HTTP port and make sure to use the same port 3. Check the server CLI port normally 9090, make sure that the program is using the same port 4. Also make sure to use the correct ip addr. If that's the case then yes, the problem is with your Android app. As for your other issue of avoiding a listing of hundreds of artists, you can avoid that by simply using the SBS option to group artists for compilation albums. Hello just wanted to say thank you for your work on SqueezeCommander. Well worth the small purchase price. (Although it is by far the most expensive droid App I have purchased) I do prefer one thing about iPeng. The ability to manipulate the playlist easier would be a welcome feature. SqueezeCommander I can delete one song at a time or the entire playlist. iPeng I can select a number of songs at once to be deleted. A minor quibble.
