Take a look at the scanner.log (you can see it from the LMS web interface at Settings/Information (scroll to the bottom using a desktop browser). If you do not see what you want in there then try increasing the logging level in Settings/Advanced/Logging (scroll down to items that start with "scan"). [slim] logging
As I have a huge music collection so I don't have control on everything in there. I did some deleting and did a rescan and without adding or changing files the scan showed some new and changed files. Is there a way to log what files are being added and changed? On my transporter, if I set the visualizer screen to "extended text display" the station name does show up. I rather just include that as part of the scrolling and leave the visualizer screen for the vu meter. [slim] What field is the radio station name for display?
Hi - I'm trying to have the radio station name always be part of the info displayed along with song title and artist. Looks like that field is not one of the combinations available in for the Title information config, though. On my transporter, if I set the visualizer screen to "extended text display" the station name does show up. I rather just include that as part of the scrolling and leave the visualizer screen for the vu meter. I do have one workaround which is to disable the screen saver when playing and not select now playing - but then I only see the station name and not any other info. Hi Joe I've read your blog posts on the main VFD replacement and the diode fix, and must say that they are very nicely written - clear, detailed, and well illustrated. I have quite a collection of Booms and I expect to take on one or other of these jobs in the near future. As a point of interest though, can you explain a detail that I don't quite understand? You have explained that the variable voltage on the right side is intended as a way to control the display brightness, but you also say that it remains possible to vary the brightness even after your diode fix, which I understand creates a fixed voltage drop.
