Re: [slim] replay gain recommendations?
If I rip a CD I use dbPoweramp to Rio it and set replaygain at the encoding to FLAC stage. If I record an LP to FLAC Ill run it through Foobar2000 to add the replaygain Iirc they are from the same software house so probably identical code VB2.4[/B] STORAGE *QNAP TS419P (NFS) [B]Living Room* - Joggler & SB3 -> Onkyo TS606 -> Celestion F20s *Office* - Pi3+Sreen -> Sony TAFE320 -> Celestion F10s / Pi2+DAC & SB3 -> Onkyo CRN755 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes *Dining Room* -> SB Boom *Kitchen* -> UE Radio (upgraded to SB Radio) *Bedroom (Bedside)* - Pi2+DAC ->ToppingTP21 ->AKG Headphones *Bedroom (TV)* - SB Touch ->Sherwood AVR ->Mordaunt Short M10s Everything controlled by iPeng d6jg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112796 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

I am currently spending some of my vacation time going through my libraries and cleaning them up (tags, artwork, duplicate cleaning) in the effort to coanized mbine all the various folders & backups of my tunes over the years and arrive at 2 cleaned, organized folders (1 Live on LMS, 1 backup duplicate), so yeah...it's a lot of work that I don't want to see flushed down the drain with a server failure. Re: [slim] [ANNOUNCE] SqueezePlay for Mac OSX
Also, what is the version of squeezeplay? There are a couple other possibilities. 1. there is another player like squeezelite or softsqueeze already running on the mac. 2. there is more than one active network interface, like wired and wireless and/or vpn. 3. the firewall is blocking squeezeplay. Re: [slim] replay gain recommendations?
Or you can use the command line tool metaflac from FLAC tools (https://xiph.org/flac/documentation_tools_metaflac.html). reinholdk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=36070 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112796 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Re: [slim] How to play this radio stream, please
AFAIK there is no mechanism that already exists to allow you to specify a http referrer field. This is why it would need a plugin. Re: [slim] How to play this radio stream, please
on ubuntu CLI terminal, I am able to play the stream on vlc using >> vlc --http-referrer='http://www.tamilradios.com' 'http://212.47.243.160:8002/1' it would be good to know how to play the stream with LMS from CLI. My setup : Rpi3b with Volumio, using LMS/Squeezelite as plugins. sh1ntomi's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70545 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112787 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] How to play this radio stream, please
hi Paul , Thanks. Any pointers on how to implement http referrer within LMS? Any other similar plugins or CLI input within LMS to play the stream would be helpful.
