Radios 1 Black SB Radio - fully working 1 White SB Radio - missing knob, otherwise fully working Booms 5 Booms - all fully working, most with fiddly power-supply connection (known issue, not sure if it's the PS or the plug). All displays acceptable, but have various degrees of fading. Boom displays weren't the highest quality. All sound great. 1 No power supply 2 With power supply & remotes 1 With power supply, remote, box, bag Classics 1 Black, with box, power supply, remote, great display 1 Silver/Black, no remote, no power supply, great display 1 Silver/White, with remote and power supply, great display 1 Black, broken power supply, broken remote. Powers up (Red light in optical connector), but nothing on the display. Receiver 1 Receiver with power supply, works great. Need to configure with Perl program, not terribly difficult (https://www.practicalreason.net/post/squeezebox-duet-without-controller) plympton's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12955 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113729 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
[slim] Squeezeboxen for sale
I am just getting these ready, but posting here first to see if there's interest. Everything works, but I think 1 of the Classic's has a flakey display (half pixels drop out after X minutes). I need to verify power supplies, remotes, Wifi, display dimming, etc. If there's something you are interested in, shoot me an offer. I'll get some photos up soon. 5 Booms 4 Classics 2 Radios 1 Receiver (Duet minus remote) plympton's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12955 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113729 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Maybe' THIS ' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?113660-ClassicAMP-))would be a solution if you like the SB3 form factor (I do...)? Adds up to quite a bit of money, but nice result... Re: [slim] Forum slow to load. Anyone else notice?
I had a database timeout report recently. Last time I noticed this there was a report from Michael not long after to say that someone/something had been flooding (accidentally I think) the server with requests. This is similar to my situation. Utility power that fails frequently, when it is restored LMS on the pCP not working. When I had the LMS data on my attached HDD, on power restore pCP would not find the HDD, so it could not run LMS (at least that was my assumption). I had to go into pCP UI and unmount and mount the HDD, then start LMS. Since then I have been told you can extend the time that pCP waits for HDD spin up, maybe that would have helped, didn't try it. I have since moved the LMS data to the SD, on a third partition. When the power restores, LMS isn't running, but I simply have to restart pCP from the UI, so it's a fairly easy restore that I can live with it. But I can't help but think that it has something to do with the fact that the router/internet is slow to come on line on power restore, and pCP can't find it initially. I say this because this never happened with LMS on Windows, but we all know that Windows boots slowly, so the router/internet was likely available. To the thread, my SD has survived maybe 10 power cuts while LMS was playing.
