The Simple Library Views plugin might help with your Ballroom 'sub-library'. My partner's musical taste is rather different to mine (some uncharitable people say I have no taste!), and this plugin allows me to identify the music she likes and makes a subset library view. It works well, but enforces a rescan for new and changed files every time the server restarts. Example below, I searched for "Christmas" in the file path (you would search on "Ballroom"), and saved the result as a library view named Xmas. (picture 2). You can then select to use this library. Hi! I have a "collection within my collection" of ballroom music. The main library is in /music/library, the ballroom stuff is in /music/library/ballroom . 1) Is it possible to have some sort of "sub collection" / "sub library" / what have you on the LMS? 2) where would I specify that? 3) how would I select that on the Radio / Touch / Boom 4) how would I select that on my phone app (Android phone, currently running Squeezer, but open for suggestions)? 5) can I also have some sort of "library view" on the phone, for when I'm not within my network? Last week I bought two ASUS RT-AX55 routers which support Vimesh and Wifi6. I tested the new routers at a second location where I do not have any problems with my SB Radios dropping from the network due to interference from the neighbors. At home I have had problems. I set up the system with separate 2.4 and 5 Ghz SSID. When Wifi 6 was turned on the SB radio worked for about 10 minutes, and then dropped from the network. Turning off 2.4 Ghz Wifi 6 and no more problems with the SB Radio. I am having problems with the guest network on the mesh nodes, which is supposed to be supported by the RT-AX55. I have a case open with ASUS. Once I get resolution, I plan to create a new post with my observations. Wow scary story. I have As of current count on LMS, I have 41,103 tracks and 4,038 albums. It'd completely suck to lose them or even a 20% portion. I try to back up diligently and spread risk, but worst case scenarios can always hit. And if a global extinction event happened that renders every precaution useless, I'd guess I'd have other worries to deal with... :-P That said, one thing I am doing is creating favorite playlists in Spotify that reflect my music history. They don't have every album in my collection, but it's very, very good stuff. And sounds pretty darn good to me too, even though I fully admit to having a somewhat snobbish audio quality standard. I know you'll tell me stuff can happen to Spotify too (takeover, tech change, music rights disputes ..), but all in all creating good playlists there that I can reuse from anywhere seems a fun thing to do and time well spent, too. Glad you recovered most of your library - and honestly if I look at mine these days, there's a significant chunk of stuff in there I'll probably never listen to again.
