[slim] New modified SqueezeAMP batch?
Dear all - Ive made a small modification to SqueezeAMP to add IR w/o modifying size. So never say never, if there are about 30 people , friends, or « distributors », Im ready to redo another batch. It will have the nice casing made by @chill with cable goodies. I dont know how components coat has evolved, but Ill try to maintain it at 65. If nobody wants battery/chargeur, I can reduce that probably below 45 or even 40 (but that has to be nobody). As always, it is at cost. [slim] MB Vs MiB
While looking at memory usage in top and htop I couldn't figure out why they showed different numbers. It turns out top uses MiB (Mebibytes) and htop uses MB (Megabytes). I was totally ignorant of Mebibytes and they seem to be exactly what I thought a Megabyte used to be before drive manufacturers decided to redefine a Megabyte as 1000 kB ( and presumably a kB as 1000 bytes) so their drives appeared to be bigger [emoji2]. PSU can be failing so that it can provide enought pwoer to start system but not enough to do anything underload. Is there a light in SPDIF optical conection ? If PSU is OK (and only way to be sure is to replace with a known working properly speced PSU) - the next main cause for failure is WLAN card which is also a relatively easy to test - open up SB player and remove WLAN card and test player on wired connection. A failing WLAN card can stop a SB player even if the wired connection is being used.
