Re: [slim] Strange behaviour of volume on synced players

2022-09-17 Thread mherger

Could you please try whether one of the following would change
behavior?

- turn off Spotify Connect for a while. Also turn on INFO logging for
plugin.spotty to see whether you see any volume notification around the
time when this happens.
- turn off the fixed volume on the Touch
- make sure you don't have volume sync enabled

There's no squeeze player apk - it has to be installed via Playstore.
Same for SB Player. Does the TV box have Playstore.

I've used SB Player on a xiaomi TV stick - works fine.

Back when they were plentiful and cheap Raspberry Pi took over for this
purpose. Free piCorePlayer OS works perfectly.

No reason, though, that Android player can't still do the same.

Time to resurrect this old thread (still seems most relevant). Through
my ISP I have an AndroidTV box. I have acquired a Logitech Z625 which
has a SPDIF imput. Originally for an old Samsung TV, but I've been
thinking that once connected to the TV box, I can install (I imagine)
bluegaspode's Squeezeplayer App and voila I have a player for the living
room. Will try out in the next couple of days and report back.

Or, 9 years after the original post, is anyone carried on with
this/doing this?
