Re: [slim] New modified SqueezeAMP batch?
I've sent an email for all who expressed interest for the new batch as it will be here this week. If you have not received anything from me, please send an email to philippe_44 at outlook dot com. Here is the content of the email I've sent. I don't have final price, but should be around 80USD. Code: - name and address - quantity - basic or boost (I only have 10 boost), see website to understand the difference - slim case, large case (for battery) - top case option (bear with me for a bit) => please look at pictures here https://github.com/philippe44/SqueezeAMP 1- normal, 7 honeycomb holes, no room for display 2- for small display (see pictures), missing 2 honeycomb holes to accommodate display 3- as 1- but with holes for an on/off switch 4- as 2- but with holes for an on/off switch note that options with on/off switch should be the normal choice if you selected the large case (with battery) - do you want a small display (limited quantity) - do you want cables to build your own extension and add on/off switch (limited quantity) I can't guarantee that there will be the exact case choice you want. I don't ship batteries. LMS 8.2 on Odroid-C4 - *SqueezeAMP!*, 5xRadio, 5xBoom, 2xDuet, 1xTouch, 1xSB3. Re: [slim] BBC ending Shoutcast stream
Some stations have been completely off all weekend, for example BBC Radio Kent's mp3 stream. Either it's looping the message or it's completely silent as it is now. *RadioFeeds UK & Ireland..* an up-to-date radio directory for your Squeezebox/Transporter/UE Smart Radio.. available from the mysqueezebox.com App Gallery. Bonus: our RadioFeeds LMS plugin also lists AAC *and the BBC's high-quality HLS streams* on top of what's available in our MSB app. -Now with over 1000 registered users-, it's available for Logitech Media Server (and Squeezebox Server, SqueezeCenter and SlimServer). It is possible that the site is down temporarily, but I suspect that plugin is simply no longer available, and may not work with recent versions of LMS. Perhaps someone in these forums would be able to share a copy of the plugin with you, assuming its license allows that. My suggestion is that you investigate the Group Players plugin, which I think serves the same purpose. Oh, and if your reset did not include upgrading to a current version of LMS, it would probably be wise to go ahead and do that! Usually running latest beta LMS nightly on Raspberry Pi OS with virtual players (Squeezelite and Airplay bridge). Occasionally using SB Radio, Boom or Classic. d6jg wrote: > Dont you think this could be Auntie attempting more geo blocking? > If you have ever had any dealings with overseas networking you will find > that www.bbc.co.uk returns a different site entirely to the one we see > in UK. If I listen here in France direct on my laptop to the Beeb via their website, or direct via the Sounds replay facility - ie, not connected at all to the LMS world - there's almost never any geo blocking. Except for some live sports, and some live music. And that other oddity - Thought For The Day on BBC R4 is sometimes geo locked - I imagine that the contract they have with some of the independent contributors is for UK rights only (I know one chap who makes a decent income from selling his short "belief" essays to English language stations round the world, the Beeb merely being his largest and best customer.). So, I think that IF the Beeb wants to do more geo locking, this ending of Shoutcast and advertising Sounds would be an odd way of going about it. I don't think this is a commercial policy issue, but a techie one - and that the overseas addition of the message to a Sounds-derived LMS stream is probably a glitch of the type we've sometimes seen before. Let's hope! BTW, I now haven't heard the message for 36 hours - but the week-end material on R3, R4 and R4Ex is much more heavily pre-recorded than the weekday stuff (even the Continuity), so that may be a factor too. 8.2.1 - 1639114554 Win11 Control: Web GUI; MaterialSkin on Android phones / pads Machines / devices are in France, in two locations. a) Livebox 6 Internal HDD (FLAC music; mp3 voice), LAN Desktop 3 x Touch - 1 wireless, 2 LAN.
