No compiling necessary. After the installation of ActivePearl your WinPC understands Pearl scripts. You downloaded the zipfile from here http://projects.robinbowes.com/Net-UDAP/trac/browser/branches/1.0.x The zipfile contains three folders \doc \scripts \src Extract them to C:\NetUDAP\ On the desktop make a rightclick - New - Link Insert C:\NetUDAP\scripts\udap_shell.pl --local-address 192.168.1.65 The link shold now point to: C:\NetUDAP\scripts\udap_shell.pl --local-address 192.168.1.65 Give the link a Name for instance (NetUDAP 1.0.x)and thats is it. Now you can doubleclick on this link a DOSbox opens and the script executes. Simply navigate to Squeezebox Setup, ie. as if you were about to set up networking. Net-UDAP should be able to discover configure the Boom just like any other Squeezebox. The Net-UDAP worked fine for me. I could configure my receiver. The only problem I have is that for the wireless_wpa_psk=(64 digits) only 55 digits are accepted, the other 9 are simply cut away.
