[slim] Squeezebox Classic - Screen Problems
Hi all, My 2 year old SQ Classic has a problem with the screen. A horizontal strip about about 1cm high will not display any pixels at the centre of the screen, across the width of the screen. This is temporarily resolved by removing the power, waiting, and re-connecting, but it always re-occurs everytime. I've had issues with using Itunes with SC7.2. It scanned ok (music is Apple Lossless) but would not play without stutterring and pausing. I had problems with apple lossless with SC7.2. My problem was solved after I unchecked the 'use Itunes' option in SCentre and just put in the file path to my music. I downloaded Itunes8 last night. The 'Genius scan' of my music library took about 10 mins (which on my setup was infinetly faster than Music IP). Seems to work fine. You get a list of tracks similar to the one you are listening to available from the Itunes store, as well as an automatic playlist. I think I have sort of resolved the issue for me. The problem only happens when the 'use Itunes' option has been checked in the settings. I am running the same set up. I'm running SC7.2 on an XP PC, with a Sbox3 with the latest firmware. My music is also Apple Lossless on a NAS. It was working before the upgrade, now I have a long gap of anything up to a minute before a track will play. When it does finally play, it can stutter and stop during the track. The buffer on the SB sits at 0% for ages while the track doesn't play. I have looked at all the settings on SC and they all appear to be correct. I have a few mp3 files which play without any problem, so I guess the issue is with the way the Apple Lossless files are being converted to AIFF / FLAC etc... [slim] Slow ALAC transcoding since SC 7.2
Hi, Since upgrading to SC 7.2 all the Apple Lossless music i try and play takes an age to start. The buffer sits at 0% for a few mins then the track plays, same thing happens on the next track. MP3's are playing straight away with no problems. I run XP, SC 7.2 and a SB3. [slim] Wireless Bridge problems after latest firmware
I upgraded to SC 7.2 and had to upgrade my SB3 firmware. I have a NAS connected via cross over ethernet to the back of the SB3. Since upgrading to the new firmware, I keep losing my connection with the NAS. I'm using XP, SC 7.2, SB3 Firmware 112 Any ideas?
