I truly appreciate the help. No music yet. Here's a few more screen shots, to show you what I have done. I changed the shared name to MUSIC. Should the mount point remain MUSIC as well. Also inside the MUSIC folder I had subfolder (2) that is where the FLAC files are stored. [slim] Updated to DSM to 7 Can no longer access music!!!!
Last time I updated I ended up having to purchase a raspberry pi. Got that up and running with LMS and picoreplayer. Everything was going smoothly, until I decided to upgrade my Synology NAS (DS216, I believe)again. After upgrade I also could not use my Plex server. Managde to get that connected again following direction on their forum. Seems like I need to figure out how to grant permission again to LMS. When on LMS I am trying to direct to the NAS folder which contains my music. I can not do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated, just let me know what information I can provide. duff138's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2570 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115727 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
[slim] Anyway to create a CD list with Slim device?
I'd like to have an excel sheet or word document with all my CDs listed. Since Slim Device has all the info I was wonder is there anyway I can print out a list somehow? I had done a clean install previous to this problem. I think it may have happended after this. [slim] pauses/stutters when scrolling through menus
I used the Sb2 for months and then started having this problem. I'm using version 6.2.1 firmware 15. While I listen to a song, if I scroll through the artists, albums, or songs, using the remote the screen locks up for about 30 seconds. I can usually scroll through about 5 titles before it locks up. I can look at the Slim Device player screen on my computer and I can see that it's trying to refresh the screen. It is doing it very slowly. I can watch the progress bar (blue refesh bar on bottom of screen). It's takes a while to refresh, once it refreshes the screen on the squeezebox unfreezes and the music starts to continue. I'm constantly wanting to switch songs while I'm sitting there. it's hard not to when you have your whole collection at your finger tips, so it's frustrating having this happen now. If also noticed the CPU jumps up to 100% usage when this occurs. Anything I can do to solve this problem. All suggestions would be appreciated. -- duff138 -------- duff138's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2570 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=23911 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
[slim] Re: SlimServer stopping & CPU maxing out..HELP!
I'm having a similar problems in the last couple weeks. COU maxed out. I noticed it when I was moving through the menus with the remote it would jsut get stuck on something. I'd then go to my computer and try to open slimserver interface and it would take a very long time. Also songs will get stuck and the display/graph on the squuezbox with freeze. Usually starts to play again after 30+ seconds. I never had any of these problems in the past. [slim] Anyone here using Panda Firewall?
I am and have been using it no problem, until a few days ago. I think my computer may have restarted overnight after a Microsoft update, and now I'm having trouble with the Panda firewall for some unknown reason. I never really had to configure it before so I'm not sure what I need to do to allow the SB2 to work. How do I set the allow ports? Like I said did not have to do this in the past, but think maybe it'll allow the SB2 to be recognized.
