Transporter still going well and music still sounding great. Pretty clear something changed drastically - it must be the album artist vs. all artists thing. The unknown is, is it now including Conductors and even Composers, rather than just the artist & album artist tags? I'm a very deliberate purchaser of music, and looking at the album stats that amounts to 120 new albums a year. most are CDs. Last.fm tells me that I listen to an average 20 songs a day. Though at a peak last year, I listened to 65 Scott Walker tracks in a day. Like others, I am not sure Artists is measured the same way. But from April 2014, I know I had: Total Tracks: ::79,420 :: So an increase of 32,994 tracks. Primarily purchased and ripped CDs, with a handful of downloaded digital files. That's like a CD a day for the last 6 years. Hmmm. Seems high, but I do buy a lot. And the last 6 years has seen a lot of purchased box sets.
