Does anyone know if the 770's browser supports speech-enabled browsing? Urp! >$100 for a keyboard? I guess I've gotten spoiled by never having to pay more than $20 for a keyboard for the past several years. The website that Ben cited above mentions that people have gotten usb keyboards to work with the 770. Is there anything special that one needs to do for that? -- gharris999 gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=26094 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

bluetooth keyboard support, yes-- http://770.fs-security.com/maemo-bt-plugin/ I have this keyboard and it works well. the keyboard, folded, is almost exactly the size of the 770. the two can fit in a (large) pants pocket easily. Opera is the web browser. It must be a pared down version from the full desktop browser, but it's likely closer to a desktop Opera than Opera "mini", made for PDAs. My experience is that the 770 browser is *superb*. And yes, it's a true touchscreen. FWIW, internettablettalk is indeed the de facto 770 forum, but to be honest I typically get better answers, even about the 770, on slimdevices. 'Thry the forums here.' (http://www.internettablettalk.com) There's an unofficial bluetooth plug-in which supports many keyboards and GPS units. -- Fifer Fifer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=639 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=26094 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

Also, I hear it runs a browser that's "based on" Opera... I wonder how different from Opera this browser is.
