First, it's generally good practice to use the real artist name for the Artist tag, rather than using V/A. I mean, the collection of tracks -- whether from a compilation or simply your collection of singles -- may have various artists, but the track itself has a specific track artist(s). For your current problem, check your settings via the SBS web ui. For your purposes, under *Settings My Music Filter genres at the album track level* you should probably select *Only show tracks or albums matching the selected genre for an artist*. Unfortunately that's already selected, and yes, that setting really should do what I want it do to -but it doesn't. If that's the case then yes, the problem is with your Android app. As for your other issue of avoiding a listing of hundreds of artists, you can avoid that by simply using the SBS option to group artists for compilation albums. I have a genre called Xmas. Most of my songs under Xmas are with artist V/A since it's a lot of single tracks and not albums. Under artist V/A I also have a lot of other songs from other genres. When I select genre Xmas - V/A, I'd expect to only get a list of the songs that are from the Xmas genre, but instead I get a list of ALL songs with artist = V/A.
