SqueezePad, iPeng for iPad, Squeezey, Squeezecast. The last two only support either mp3 or FLAC files so the server is forced to trancode heavily. Also both have them crash from time to time (when I last tested them) and don't seem to be developed any further. The first two support all kinds of codecs and are much more robust regarding streaming. Both will make you very happy. It's quite a nice trick to embed the links into the quote but then wouldn't it make more sense to put it into a thread nobody will ever read? Maybe Google would weight the number of answers as well, don't know. That's correct. If you are only after playback, however, you might not have to wait that long since there are already a few alternatives: 1. Open http://your server:9000/stream.mp3 in the Safari browser. You can start the stream, put it in the background (yes, QuickTime can multitask) and then you can control it through the Web Interface, iPeng,... 2. The iPhone App SqueezeCast works on iPad, too.
